Are you sure this wasn't a rather large pigeon, and you left the female he was courting out of the picture?
I guess it kinda was a biggish pigeon... he wasn't actually doing anything besides sitting there looking cold...
Hm, okay. The first thing I thought of when I saw the photo was the way they bluster themselves up to impress the females. But with summer over, I don't blame him for feeling chilly.
I don't think he's pretty enough to even bother :)But yeah, it is quite chilly now!
