I did wake up for it (4:30 AM) but my problem was I was missing the part on my tripod that connects to the camera, so I couldn't keep the camera perfectly still with such long exposure.
Thanks much :) Most cameras do, until you change their settings :P
Here is the thing, you still got a decent picture of the blood moon, mine probably would've been a smear (if there hadn't been clouds). So that and the fact that you've finally figured out how to take pictures of the moon is great! I hope we're going to see more pictures of the night sky!!! :D
I missed the blood moon too, because of the clouds. I caught the tail end of it, which wasn't much.

Good job, Kid! Taking any decent pictures in the dark is quite an achievement.

ReplyDeleteNight shots are still tricky, especially of stars, they're soooo small!!! But if I get a clear sky I'll try something again.
